Tom Fox

As you probably know, Tom Fox, one of the four kidnapped members of the Christian Peacemaker Team delegation in Iraq, has been found dead. Zeynep has his last email, written the day before his abduction. In it he tries to answer the question, "Why are we here?"

Tom was a personal friend of my boss, who knew him as a fellow quaker. From what I've heard he was a kind man with an intense passion for peace, justice, and personified love for humanity. His death is yet another tragedy of our presence in Iraq.

Rush = Shit. Pure and simple.

Tom Fox was a kind man who wanted to help the Iraqi people and died because of his nationality. He died because of Bush.
