Seth Ackerman On Israel/Palestine
Seth Ackerman has a post you should read at Maxspeak! about the shift toward pragmatism within Hamas, which the U.S. media has kept to itself because they know it would confuse us. Seth lays this out in excruciating detail in an excellent new article for FAIR.

Never assume!
...though, uh, in this case your assumption has been proven correct.
Posted by: Jonathan Schwarz at October 3, 2006 02:17 PMThanks for the link Jonathan, that is an excellent article. For six or so long years I have been trying to live up to Bush's high standards and those of the news media yet I still make mistakes unlike the two entities I mentioned. Sigh.
Posted by: rob payne at October 3, 2006 05:14 PMFer cryin' out loud! LET a politician actually say something spontaneous, for once! We scream and yell about the fact that every word that comes out of our scumbag leaders' mouths is scripted and rehearsed and tweaked by shrinks, to ensure that NOTHING contains a grain of truth or anything but self-serving drivel. We then turn around and put on our snippy, disapproving personna when we read about Clinton's refreshing reaction to what is, after all, a pretty funny fact of nature.
Sorry, guys, but I found it hilarious.
