Interesting

The Washington Post's reporting on how the Cheney "invading Iraq would be a quagmire" video surfaced is interesting. There was a lot of providence involved.

I may be remembering wrong, but I think the general gist of what cheney said was covered prior to the start of the war of aggression. Well, covered in the alternative press, not the corporate press.

So much for the MEMORY HOLE.

the producer was just looking for something mildly interesting to help fill the 12-hour Cheney marathon planned by C-SPAN 3.

Isn't this sort of thing prohibited by the Geneva Convention?

Yes, sounds like C-SPAN's memory hole does need an upgrade.

The cable TV industry is to blame here for not providing adequate financing; I'm sure appropriate measures are being taken as we speak.

"How many additional dead Americans is Saddam worth?"

Isn't it wierd that when Saddam actually had all that WMD and was in a position to use it they scarcely mentioned it - then when it was all gone it became the biggest threat to mankind in and beyond all of the Middle East?

well, the Lord knows we're living in an age in pretty dire need of whatever providence we can get.
