It Just Doesn't Happen
From the new book Dead Certain about the Bush administration:
He viewed it as the commander in chief's obligation to visit with those who had suffered loss as a result of his decisions. "Sometimes it's not pleasant, and I understand that," Bush said..."But that's part of the presidency, to immerse yourself in their emotions. Because they look at the president and they—most of them—say, 'My son or daughter did what they wanted to do.' The interesting thing is, the healer gets healed. I appreciate it"..."I'm told by some politicians here that the people they meet with say, 'Get out now.' That just doesn't happen with me."
No, I guess it doesn't.

I guess it helps when your minions prescreen the families involved.
Posted by: KevinD at September 4, 2007 03:31 PMHaving finally gotten to reading your "we suck" post, I wonder what comparable verb you could possibly use for The Decider and his minions.
If almost everyone sucks because we don't work hard enough to stop these morons, what single word could possibly describe the actions of those whom we wish we could stop? I am guessing that the word does not yet exist -- or that it is so profane that the computer would burst spontaneously into flames if you typed it or read it.
So perhaps you could suggest a few new verbs, and we could vote and/or suggest new ones? I am trying to think of a verb that captures evil and stupidity in a single syllable (a single syllable being easier for chanting, and for Bush to understand, if the word catches on).

Why not start using "Bush" as a synonym for asinine?

Satanosity?
Crap-di-dilly-ocious?
Radioactive-maggots-eatin-yer-liver-osity?
Foul-corpse-of-3000-year-old-snake-slitherin-from-the-cesspit-ish?

Okay, we must remember first of all that Cindy Sheehan's "awakening" likely did not happen when she met with the President FIRST. In fact there are photos of the two of them being very cordial with each other. She awoke much, much later. And it was likely that Bush may have said that before it happened.
What we have to face up to is that even a Cindy Sheehan did not emerge overnight. Dealing properly with suffering and its root causes makes impressive people, not the other way around.
Posted by: En Ming Hee at September 4, 2007 08:28 PMI think atheist has the right idea, although they would be a little hard to chant at a rally.
On the other hand, Scott's idea would sound great shouted as a verb: "Bush Bushs! Cheney Bushs! Romney Bushs! Giuliani Bushs!"
