Regarding religion, seems to me someone eventually blows up, shoots or stabs someone else in the name of some religion, especially if the religion originated in the Middle East (Judaism, Christianity, Islam). Emperor-worshipping isn't so hot for world peace either.

Not to try and distract attention from the talking mammary glands, but there's a new poll just released which asked about Iraqi mortality which apparently confirms the Lancet 2 study--the current death toll in Iraq is, according to this new poll, roughly 1 million. I've been somewhat skeptical of the Lancet study, but if this replication holds up my skepticism was unwarranted.
