Well, (1) I hardly keep up with EVERY white person shooting someone, and (2) it's done of my own free will, no societal pressure involved. (Just the opposite, in fact.)

Of course, if some soldier shot up an army base while screaming "Christ is King," I suspect that all Christian churches would in fact hasten to condemn the act.

This reminds me of the response on this site to the Mumbai massacre a year ago, when that too was dismissed as an unfair exaggeration by the media of an everyday occurance-death.

My goodness, Jason, you've unmasked me. Obviously if a Christian fundamentalist U.S. president started a gigantic war killing hundreds of thousands of Muslims because God told him to because it was necessary to defeat Gog and Magog and the priest who'd delivered the invocation at his inauguration had called Islam "a very wicked and evil religion" and a U.S. general who tortured Iraqi Muslims had said America was in a holy war battling "Satan" and American soldiers were painting "Jesus Killed Mohammed" on the outside of their tanks in Arabic, then all mainstream U.S. Christian denominations would have to immediately repudiate it.

That's so obviously logical, it's no wonder that leftist defenders of massacres like myself are desperate to avoid it.
