Michael Gerber Is "Overexurberant"

At least that's how the news reports are describing him. Over here he says, "Memo to the Secret Service: It’s called 'guerrilla marketing,' a-holes."

The Secret Service has not released the man's name or the name of his book.

The author was questioned and then released.

At the same weekend rally, a different man identified as XXXXX tried to run naked in front of Obama, with the name of a website written across his chest.

Good try, Mike - but as we see, more extreme steps are needed to get your name in the paper.

"Memo to the Secret Service: It’s called 'guerrilla marketing,' a-holes."

THAT is very very clever of Michael Gerber!

Is it legal to throw paperbacks at presidents but not hardbound books?

Mike, perhaps you should have cut out your book in the shape of a shoe?

Dude! Really?

Dude! Really?

I wondered about that too. According to the Washington Post, "You can see it clearly in this Reuters photo, but not clearly enough to make out the title."

The cited photo is obviously the source of the picture here at ATR, but there has been some "image enhancement" of the book cover. Compare the two and draw your own conclusions.

@Mike of Angle

Would you call this "guerrilla 'book cover plagiarized' marketing" ?

Is it legal to throw paperbacks at presidents but not hardbound books?

I guess, it depends on the Hardcover book......
"Audacity of Hope" may be legal but Nir Rosen's "Aftermath" may not be!!

I'm gullible. It's been a few years since I checked in.

I saw Jon on HuffingtonPost and did a doubletake. Figured he sold out and you went radical.

It's believable enough.
