Posted by: darrelplant at February 2, 2011 02:09 PMMr Schwarz, I guess, because of rapidly deteriorating situation on the ground, the news stories on michaelmoore.com have been updated so the stories on this post do not match the stories on the updated page ( though I had seen the stories that are posted here, earlier at michaelmoore.com ).
What Mr Blair said during an interview to Sky News, says a lot about him.........( his facebook site talks more about religion than anything else, I just found out! ).
"Tony Blair's Warning On Mid-East Peace"
Monday, January 31 09:26 pm
SkyNews (c) Sky News 2011
Middle East envoy Tony Blair has told Sky News that the uprising in Egypt must not be allowed to harm the region's peace process.
The former UK prime minister said change in the country after 30 years of rule by Hosni Mubarak was "inevitable".
But Mr Blair insisted the process must be "managed" to avoid it having a negative effect on ongoing efforts to resolve the longstanding dispute between Israelis and Palestinians.
He said: "What is inevitable is that there's going to be change and the question is; what change and how do you manage it?
"So the change that people want to get to is a situation where the Egyptian government evolves and you have full, fair and free elections at a certain point in time.
"The question then is: How do you manage this process of change so that we get there with stability, not chaos, and some sense of order?
"The danger in this situation is that this has obviously got vast implications for the state of Israel, the Palestinians and for the state of the peace process.
"What is necessary is that we try and manage this and bring about the change that people want to see, rightly, but do it in a way that improves conditions for the Egyptian people.
"(It must be managed in a way that) means that they will have a proper democracy, but also means that the relationship between Israelis and Palestinians is not adversely affected, but rather improved by what happens."

I happened to watch this interview which was about ten minutes long and he used the word manage many more times. To me it sounded like he was the CEO and Egypt was his company and Egyptians were his employees!!! Such Arrogance and Ignorance, one can find only in someone like Tony Blair and his Buddy! But his concern for the peace process is really VERY touching!
